- Summary
-
- Sleeping Beauty: the evil and jealous fairy Maleficent casts a curse on the kingdom's beloved Princess Aurora. Hoping to save the princess, three Good Fairies, Merryweather, Flora and Fauna, spirit her off to the forest where they raise her as their own daughter. But it isn't enough, for, on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora pricks her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and falls into a deep, enchanted sleep just as Maleficent had intended
- Maleficent : a beautiful young fairy has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces a battle with the invading king's successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom, and perhaps to Maleficent's true happiness as well
